The Plummer Family

Scoop n’ Swirl first opened in January 2002 under Dilip and Binta Shah as Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream. After their franchise agreement ended, they decided to continue as a local family-owned business. Twenty years later Dilip and Binta Shah made the decision to retire. The Zerrusen Family purchased Scoop n’ Swirl from the Shah's in November 2021 and continued to serve the local community with fresh, homemade ice cream until Ray and Shannon made the decision to move forward as life presented new opportunities. This is where "Our Story", and the next chapter of Scoop n' Swirl begins.

 

The Plummer family, long time Fort Mill residents, took ownership of Scoop n' Swirl in December 2023. We continue to make the best premium homemade ice cream! We use only the highest quality dairy mix, which once delivered begins the process of making our very own premium homemade ice cream in house on our high-end equipment, using quality ingredients, real fruits and your choice of mix-ins and toppings to create the most delicious and creamy ice cream possible. In addition, we have a marble cold plate to enhance the mix-in experience. This part of the process is where you craft your own personalized frozen dessert by choosing any number of mix-ins or toppings and our staff will hand mix your ice cream dessert on our frozen marble cold plate. We hope to provide more than just a delectable treat, but also a fun filled and family friendly atmosphere!

 

We hope to see you in the shop soon to try our incredible homemade ice cream, milkshakes, or handmade ice cream cakes, and look forward to meeting more of our wonderful Fort Mill neighbors.
